Four thousand years ago there lived a man who, although childless for nearly a century, became the spiritual father to us all.  From Abraham arose the three dominant faiths of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. 

In Book Two of Keturah’s Children, we take up where “The Lion and the Shepherd” left off.  The Habiru shepherds of Terah’s camp now are viewed as threats to the continued security of Sumer, and are now being pursued by heavily armed and financed mercenaries.  With King Shu-ilishu and his cunning General Ukum showing single-minded devotion to their destruction, seemingly only a series of miracles can save Abram and his clan from certain annihilation.

With an eye on other concurrent events in history, living the life of a hunted refugee, the life of Abram unravels to reveal a man with real emotions, passions, doubts, victories, and heartaches.  Set in the recorded history of the regions and dabbling in the languages that Abram would have heard, his story is told with mystery and thrilling adventure.
