After over seven hundred years and multiple attempts to thwart it, if appears that the second wave of the Cyber Wars is already underway.  Try as he might, Master Kattericticus has precious few confederates to fight for the side of humanity and continued life as the Abomination spreads the reign of terror to other planets.  He has Granny and Chovis still fighting to free Planet Uruk; the mysterious inventor, Sa-Du, on Planet Eshnunna; the undetectable Grand Vizier who is either controlling or protecting King Kasan and Queen Calista on Planet Terminus; and Kattericticus’ beautiful and beloved “Plant Leader,” Ferin, serving Planet Larsa.

This is ragtag bunch scarcely an army, and the Wellspring knows it.  To make matters worse, it appears that his urgent call for help to the Lirum Mindbenders to please come and fight the advancing Abomination has not been heeded.

To the Abomination, the dark Wellspring known as the “Murkwater,” this is all a game.  However, Master Kattericticus knows that this is not a game he can afford lose.  The Abomination is stronger than he is, has killed every Wellspring before him, and has had decades to plan out the inescapable path of death and destruction throughout the galaxy.  It is the ultimate battle between good and evil, Wellspring versus Murkwater, and the loser of this game dies.
